Welcome to Creative Music X
Creative Music X creates music clubs where children can explore music in a way that feels exciting, accessible and their own.
We believe children build confidence and musical ability when they are given space to be curious, create with others and spend time on the sounds, instruments and ideas that interest them. Sessions are shaped around what children are interested in, what they want to develop, what they are excited about and how confident they feel.
Children are introduced to different ways of making music, from singing and playing instruments to rhythm, songwriting and studio recording. This gives them the chance to build skills in the areas that excite them most, while discovering new parts of music along the way.
Our approach
Explore
We do not believe in a one-size-fits-all music club. Sessions are tailored to the children taking part, shaped around what they are interested in, what they want to develop, what excites them and how confident they feel.
Create
We give children opportunities to experiment, share ideas and create music together. Sessions build on each child’s strengths, helping them develop their skills whatever their starting point.
Perform
Every club gives children the chance to share what they have created with parents, teachers, friends and family. We help children build the confidence to perform and celebrate what they have achieved.
Meet the person behind Creative Music X
Meet Jordan, the dynamic Director of CreativeMusicX. With over 15 years of experience teaching music in schools across the uk, Croydon, Kent, he is a talented British composer known for work in short films, theatre productions, and music for recording artists. As a proud member of the Ivors Academy and a recipient of the Jack Petchey Leader Award, Jordan also served as a music consultant at the National Theatre for the production of Men-TALL. His theatre credits include engaging shows like The Wonderful, Rapunzel, Pan, A-ladd-in Peckham bringing creativity and enthusiasm to every project he takes on.
